Yesterday we played with DSLR’s to learn how to take a good stock image. Between our 2 merged groups of 2 people, we took just over 100 photos, only a select few were any good however. These two, for example, are bad stock images. The top one is badly lit (stock images should have an all over even distribution of light) and the bottom on has too much of a busy background (making it hard to do BG removals when editing).
Below are the 2 I considered to be the best that we took, as they are both evenly lit, have defining lines between the background and foreground, the backgrounds arent too busy so it is real easy to make the fast and effecient editing needed, also the the poses are quite interesting.
